I do agree government responsibility, and debt reduction and elimination, as was done in the Clinton years, is absolutely necessary, but contend that since the Tea party is fully backed and corrupted by factions with completely contradictory goals, it would be stupid to be a part of it, hoping for that change....

The Tea Party is not full of stupid because the Tea Party is made up of people who want the government to cut out their massive spending and to follow the Constitution. Where's the stupid in that? And what contradictory backing and corruption are you talking about?
