Tea Party to Ireland: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

The Tea Party is rejoicing today as Ireland continues to fall further into abject poverty, after following the Tea Party's advice and instituting severe austerity measures that also give huge tax breaks to the rich. The Tea Party sees the dying economy and starving populace as a huge success, and the first step towards ruining America the same way. If only Ireland hadn't listened to the Tea Party and, through severe austerity measures, contributed to their own economic decline.

What do you guys think? Shouldn't the Tea Party shut up?

I agree with you BigBallinStalin, the moldy bread the Tea Party is trying to force down the throats of the Irish people is an outrage. The Tea Party should be ashamed of themselves.

Iceland is a great example of a country that took similar measures as the one's the Tea Party calls for.

Ireland did the opposite of what the Tea Party calls for.

I don't think the Tea Party made any official recomendation to Ireland.
Europe and Ireland wouldn't know what austerity was if it came down from the textbook, picked up the textbook and slaped them hard in the face with the textbook. They tend to view austerity in the same manner that a drunk cutting back from two bottles of booze per day to one bottle of booze per day would consider that reduction "austerity." (Austerity is no booze at all.)
If Ireland doesn't learn their lesson they will be destroyed. Period End. Terrably sorry for a nation that managed to kick England mostly off their land but that's life.
