Which old movie is most like this election? NEW link

Postby PLAYER57832 on Mon Oct 08, 2012 6:00 pm

Summary
Independent producer John McDonough explores a handful of early, mostly little-known movies about presidential elections. It is uncanny how some old, obscure films capture moments that later on became real life political moments.

I have tried to get all the movies mentioned in the poll, but I will revise it when the transcript comes out.

for simplicity's sake, assume the commentor got his assessments correct. (but for my part.. I want to see those movies now!)

I think I might have seen 2... but hope to change that soon.

For the voting purposes, just go on what the commentator said. I thought the suggestions were interesting, though I am happy to hear from anyone who has seen any of them as well!

Sadly, I picked number 3.

Your vote did not register or you must have voted before I edited the poll. Can you vote again?

12 Angry Men has to be in at number 12 if you ever change the poll.

In "State of the Union" the opening scene with Angela Lansbury sets the tone for her character.
