Trump May Get Unstoppable Authority over Trade!

A draft of exciting enabling legislation to be submitted to Congress has been leaked to Axios.

The draft legislation is stunning. The bill essentially provides Trump a license to raise U.S. tariffs at will, without congressional consent and international rules be damned. The bill, titled the "United States Fair and Reciprocal Tariff Act," would give Trump unilateral power to ignore the two most basic principles of the WTO and negotiate one-on-one with any country.

Meanwhile, if the UK plays its cards right, behaves itself, and is a welcome host to President Trump next month, it just might score a one-on-one trade agreement with the US post-Brexit. John Bolton is currently in London discussing the details of the proposed pact with the Earl of Something and the Viscount of Whatever.

I want to pull out of the UPU. This sets the postal rates so all the Chineses products are flooding American and Europe.
