By using the "add a poll" options at the bottom of the post window when you make a new topic.

underneath the box where you type your new topic message, there's an option of adding a poll to it.

write your question in the box marked 'poll question' e.g. What's your favourite colour?

Put in an option, click add option.

Repeated this process until you have all possible responses as options.
