Then why'd you make the comparison that all black actors copy Pryor? Not all white comedians have the Hicks/Leary style (a style that don't appeal to me Yay mitch hedberg!) and not all black comedians have the pryor style? Just wanting to know. Those were your words.

Yes inspired. That's the key word. Inspired and "ripped off" don't mean the same thing. From what I'm readin here, a lot of the people are accusing leary of ripping off Hicks' comedy not just being merely inspired by it. Being inspired is taking a little bit from someone or something and putting your own spin on it. From what everyone is saying it sounds like LEary just took some of Hick's stuff completely. Sure "all"(your words not mine- I still don't think this is correct) black comedians are inspired by Pryor but they didn't just steal his stuff.
