Conservatives once again proven to be most progressive

After already having given the UK its only two female Prime Ministers to date, the Conservative Party has now gone even further by giving the UK its first ever trans MP:

The first MP to come out as transgender has said he hopes to begin transitioning "as quickly as possible".

The 37-year-old, a Conservative MP for Bridgend since 2019, said he had received an "incredible amount of support" since he came out.

Meanwhile Labour, the UK's main self-styled economic left party*, is busy eating itself from the inside out over constant transphobic infighting.
