BIDEN.. will also not win. He too won't even be on the ticket.
It will come down to Gavin Newson with Gretchen Whitmer as his VP candidate
vs
Ron DeSantis, with Nikki Haley as his VP.
All 4 of them are establishment, but Desantis and his state are less of a fustercluck than Californistan is.

Kamala is among the least popular vice-presidents ever, which is kinda impressive. I don't forsee her being handed the golden ticket by the party just because she's a vice. But f*ck, who knows. I appreciate anyone who has the stones to make an actual prediction we can look back on and mock a year from now.

Biden will continue to run for re-election. The same goes for Trump.
Biden will win by a larger proportion then in 2020, by popular vote and electoral vote.

I prefer Lonous’ fantasy… but I think this is what will happen.

GaryDenton wrote:In Virginia, it looks like Democrats captured both houses.
I was sorry to see Virginia Gibson narrowly defeated 51 to 59% after the GOP sent unsolicited porn photos in envelopes to voters showing some scenes from videos she and her husband had posted on a pay-per-view site. She may have a good civil lawsuit against the party.
"The Republican Party of Virginia sent mailers to voters that contained screenshots. The envelopes warned recipients that explicit materials were contained inside and that minors should not open the envelope."
I know when I was a kid if an envelope with that warning arrived it wouldn't make it to my parents.

n November 30th, the stage is set for a political showdown between DeSantis and Gov. Newsom. Gov. Newsom has been rumored to enter the presidential race despite trying to quiet down the chatter.

GaryDenton wrote:Newsom does want to run very badly. I don't see it happening unless Biden has a health scare, which is unlikely.
Biden is remarkably fit. It is more likely that Trump will have a stroke or a heart attack or be killed or wounded in an assassination attempt.
It is finally breaking into the mass media that Trump is both mentally and physically unfit and his backers have well-developed plans for him to be a demagogue dictator if he is reelected. (Edit - I specified it is Trump's backers, Trump is not that smart.)
Prediction: Democrats win the presidency and a closely divided House, the Senate is a toss-up but I think Sen. Cruz loses.
If Democrats don't win it will be like Heinlein's Future History Tales, there is not another election as Christofascist Nehemiah Scudder starts his reign.
I recently remembered there is another SF figure Trump is even more like - "Honest John Barlow” in 'The Marching Morons'. A real estate con man who wants to be a dictator and runs a campaign bamboozling the low-IQ masses.

DeSantis is going to debate Newsom in 2 weeks.
Things to just forget about
that Desantis hasn't secured his party's nomination
That primary votes won't even start to get cast for another 2 months
or that Gavin Newsom hasn't even declared his run for the Presidency yet.
None of that matters

Trump Now the Favorite Among Young and Hispanic Voters - Biden Leads With Old White Men and Shut-Ins
Biden now claims the support of just 63% of Black voters, a precipitous decline from the 87% he carried in 2020, according to the Roper Center. He trails among Hispanic voters by 5 percentage points, 39%-34%; in 2020 he had swamped Trump among that demographic group 2 to 1, 65%-32%. And among voters under 35, a generation largely at odds with the GOP on issues such as abortion access and climate change, Trump now leads 37%-33%.
