That's a fucking stretch. Looks like we have a new crying liberal. Hooray.

PS. Your lack of knowledge of our federal budget and how it's gathered / spent is appalling.

The USA and its Federal Government, under Democrat POOR Leadership, is spending money we do not have and is running huge deficits, to be paid (the interest, anyway) by my children and grandchildren. And the Republicans are going along, partly to get PORK for their pet projects and to avoid being accused of harming widows, orphans, indigent elderly, and other disadvantaged groups.

For the First Time, the U.S. Is Spending More on Debt Interest than Defense
(...)

Federal debt as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP) is, at 97 percent, at an all-time high. And with annual budget deficits running at crisis-era levels—6.2 percent in 2023, a forecasted 5.6 percent for 2024—that debt is set on a relentless upward path.

https://www.cfr.org/blog/first-time-us-spending-more-debt-interest-defense

I hope that the rejection of the Pork heavy Continuing Resolution rejected by Musk and Trump (and DOGE) is a start in the Right direction to be more fiscally responsible.

and MORE, same source (and I am sure I can find more, if needed):

What does this mean for the United States?
The likelihood of the U.S. actually defaulting on its debt is trivial, since the government prints the currency in which its debt is denominated. But the alternatives to default under the path of continued high deficits all point toward lower living standards. As the government borrows more and more, the cost of money across the economy increases, crowding out private investment, reducing supply, increasing prices, and lowering growth. In the worst-case scenario, the country enters a debt spiral in which government borrowing and interest rates each keeps pushing the other up.

You're in a fantasy world.

Here's what will happen in the real world.

The deficit will be a convenient excuse to make big cuts in programs that actually benefit the majority of people. Subsidies to health, education, and welfare will be gutted. Old-age security will probably see an axe too, although it might survive. Protection for wildlife and environment will definitely be trashed, as will consumer protections.

The money saved will probably be less than you hoped, but in any case it won't make any difference to the deficit. Any savings will be channeled to tax cuts for the rich. Long-forgotten "trickle-down" rhetoric will be dusted off and revived, to tell the working poor they should be grateful that their bosses are paying less income tax.

The deficit will continue to grow. The debt football can continue to be kicked down the road a few more terms.

Grants to the sciences and the arts will mainly languish, but with some exceptions. Things that fascinate Vice-President Musk, like space exploration and artificial intelligence, will probably survive any cuts and may even be expanded. But things that bore him, like nutrition or ecology or anything to do with the natural world, are in for a lot of "cost-cutting".

Biden's attempts to renew America's basic infrastructure will be halted, partly for cost-cutting but also partly because the Trumpists won't be able to stand the stench of Bidenomics that surround them. America's 6 decades of neglect for its infrastructure will embark on a 7th decade -- bridges and breakwaters will resume crumbling. Combined with climate change, it means that anyone who lives in a coastal area should start considering alternatives.

I noticed a typo...one I've corrected you on countless times but you just keep your head buried in the sand

In his first term Trump approved 4.8 Trillion dollars in new borrowing that was non-covid related. He approved an additional 3.6 Trillion in Covid related borrowing for a grand total of 8.4 Trillion dollars.

In Bidens term he approved 2.2 Trillion dollars in new borrowing that was non-covid related. He approved an additional 2.1 Trillion in Covid related borrowing for a grand total of 4.3 Trillion dollars.

So you put the biggest deficit and debt creator in the history of the universe back in office because he promised he will be different this time. I'm starting to think you have battered wife syndrome Jusplay, or maybe you just don't believe in math?

Florida is another State that has issues with insurance availability.

One of the primary reasons people are leaving Florida is the rising costs and restrictions of home insurance. In recent years, Florida has been hit by numerous hurricanes and other natural disasters, leading to increased insurance premiums and several insurance companies leaving the state entirely.Sep 25, 2024

Gavin Newsom Caught Faking Call With Biden To Get Away From Angry LA Resident

California Gov. Gavin Newsom was seemingly caught faking a call with President Joe Biden in an effort to get away from an angry Los Angeles resident amid the ongoing wildfires, Thursday.

In a viral moment captured by Sky News, an unidentified woman – referred to only by the news network as “an angry LA resident” – could be seen approaching Newsom and shouting, “Governor, you got a second? Governor! I live here, governor! That was my daughter’s school, governor!”

“I’m literally talking to the president right now,” replied Newsom, pointing to his phone. “To specifically answer the question of what we can do for you and your daughter.”

As it turned out, Newsom was not “literally talking to the president right now,” and quickly changed his story after the woman asked to listen in on the call.

After the woman asked, “Can I hear it? Can I hear your call? Because I don’t believe it,” Newsom paused before responding, “I’m sorry, there’s literally– I’ve tried five times, that’s why I’m walking around to make the call.”

“Why is the president not taking your call?” the woman questioned.

The governor then got into his car and left.

Meanwhile in real life, 34 Convicted Felonies Trump says Governor Newson and President Biden are causing the fires in California.

Saxi is learning from Trump! Distract with many different b.s. stories.

Trump is king of b.s. stories and his mindless followers eat it up. Greenland, Canada, Gulf of America, stolen elections, Hunter's laptop, windmills driving whales crazy and killing birds, It's all distractions to ignore the fact that Trump has no firm policies on the economy, healthcare or America's decaying infrastructure.
