What's the over/under that he'll chicken out on the new steel tariff?

So far, he seems to have a special hate for Canada. We survived the 25%, but pretty much every steel mill here will be shut down if the 50% steel tariff doesn't get canceled.

I think this sums up pack rat and, his worthless videos, too.

And p rat goes back to TikTok for more silliness from TikTok. SAD, very SAD. And in one post, pee rat talks with himself and a bot. THAT is attention we ALL CRAVE. :roll: :roll:

pack rat continues to RELY on videos to ATTEMPT to make a point, his point, that is lost and thus WORTHLESS as a point to be refuted, discussed, or even pondered. And what is his point? The only logical and coherent conclusion from his last 50 or so posts is that pack rat suffers from TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It is doubtful that pee rat has before now even understood the ORIGIN of the term, from the Financial Times. p rat ONLY sees that phrase or acronym as a way to insult Trump and those who support his policies. SIMPLY PUT: it ain't working here.

Meanwhile, I will enjoy eating my tacos on Tuesday. :D

The Psychology of Trump Derangement Syndrome
(...)
How the label works in practice
Triggers intense emotional reactions — anxiety, anger, and relentless rumination can flood anyone exposed to the label, while those branded “deranged” may feel stigmatized, withdraw, or fire back—fueling a cycle of rising stress and distance

https://therapygroupdc.com/therapist-dc-blog/the-psychology-of-trump-derangement-syndrome/

And based on nearly all his posts, mostly silly VIDEOS THAT NO ONE WATCHES, p rat suffers badly from TDS. To go even further, I suggest that pee rat is so full of anxiety that he can barely get out words. When he does, he admits to LYING. 'nuff said. 'nuff said.

Trump derangement syndrome (TDS) is a pejorative term used to describe negative reactions to US President Donald Trump that are perceived to be irrational and to have little regard for Trump's actual policy positions.[1] The term has mainly been used by Trump supporters to discredit criticism of him, as a way of reframing the discussion by suggesting that his opponents are incapable of accurately perceiving the world.[2][3] Some journalists have used the term to call for restraint when judging Trump's statements and actions.[4][5][6]

Trump insults our allies and attacks them with tariffs?

He uses his office to enrich himself and his family.

The Supreme Court has determined it's OK for the President to commit crimes and has immunity to any and all crimes. That is why Trump is openly selling his loyalties to the highest bidder.

Wall Street is a roller coaster ride, but is betting that Trump Always Chickens Out.

Trump would answer that this is part of his negotiations, I would say.

UNPROVEN, although I did read or hear something, likely by biased media source(s).

Pack Rat wrote:The Supreme Court has determined it's OK for the President to commit crimes and has immunity to any and all crimes. That is why Trump is openly selling his loyalties to the highest bidder.

I serious DOUBT that the Supreme Court would allow anyone, including the President to

So my response here is PROVE those allegations, pee rat. You prove NOTHING with your videos. Those are NOT PROOF despite what your diagnosis of TDS may tell you.

Despite what Trump has publicly said, I think he does watch the Stock Markets. Again, the entire Tariff issue is part of:
1) Trade Negotiations (I saw a quote/video by Trump on this very point);
2) the Stock market "jitters" and "anxiety" due to ALL the generated uncertainty;
3) what is working IN SOME cases (Trump is touting the US Steel Deal as PART of that success);
4) a larger Economic plan to bring manufacturing jobs to the USA;
5) a long process and that we need to be somewhat patient to see what the net result will be. Many results are NOT yet IN and need more time to assess their overall impacts.
6) Many of the tariffs are being challenged in Court.
7) Tariffs may not be the Economic panacea that some Administration officials tout.
8 ) @ Duk, I expect some reasonable outcome to the steel tariff issue will results in benefits for both the US and Canadian steel makers. I have to say that I not researched this matter extensively. I do believe that Trump did impose tariffs on steel and aluminum imports in his first term. I also believe that Biden did NOT remove those said tariffs.
