Pretty much the most boring book I have ever read. I'm sure there are some hidden meanings or themes, but since its summer I got nothing. To sum it up, The Sun Also Rises is like watching a toilet flush.

And luns, dude I think we have diametrically opposing tastes in literature. You just named several of my favorites

I think a toilet flush would be faster.

alright,
reading The Sun Also Rises was like watching a toilet flush repeatedly. Every time you expected something excited to happen, the same boring shit went down.

have you seen the game. I don't know what's the funniest part about it. The gameplay, the fact that they thought it would be a big hit, the fact that a ton of people bought it, the fact almost everyone who got it wanted a refund, or the burying of games.

I calculated it, they were drunk 9/10 pages throughout the book. The first time it was kind of funny. But they were drunk THE ENTIRE BOOK, thats just makes for boring shit.
Dancing Mustard wrote:Don't worry about finishing it... he never gets it up, and Viagra hadn't been invented back then. The scene your looking for never happens. Trust me.
(I'll be honest, I quite liked it; not my favourite book, but not a bad read at all...)
