Hamilton had to finish 5th or better if massa came first.
Hamilton loses fifth place on penultimate lap. regains fifth place on the second to last corner of the last race of the year.

we put it on in the pub after City's game had finished. wasn't really glued to the telly, but it started to get interesting when it started to rain. some came in for wets(Hamilton for 1) and some stayed out taking a big chance(Glock ). with just under 2 laps to go S. Vettel overtook Hamilton and all was lost. Massa crossed the line as the Champion and then T. Glock was overtaken by Hamilton with 2 corners to go. he lost 21 seconds on the last lap Glock.


the funniest thing was when the camera panned to the Ferrari garage and there was a couple of birds and a fat get juping up and down celebrating, then the bloke looked up at the screen and seen Hamilton 5th . oh the look on their faces, priceless.
