Third parties

Postby Kingdroid on Wed Oct 01, 2008 10:38 pm

All of you people who are voting for obama and/or mccain, yet do not believe in the large majority of the things they do, and ar ejust voting for them because they're your party or some other shit.

you're the cancer that is killing America. (BRACE FOR IMPACT!)

IN ANY CASE, VOTE FOR A THIRD PARTY because the two party system is retarded.

A fair assessment, but it isn't like the third parties have any chance of winning. Hell, even if they did they'd have little to no support from Congress, so the only thing they'd accomplish in the whole of their presidency is vetoing some of the more ridiculous bills. While a new party certainly is the answer, the two old ones are the problem. The only way that we could mover the country off of the track we're on is to wipe the slate clean: throw out all the current senators and representatives. This will never...well, I'll amend that...not happen for a very, very long time.

One mistake I'll have to live with (living with it now) is voting for Bush. So I'd normally agree 100%. Well, 99% since I have to find a third party with which I agree with the most.

Any parties out there that talk about sweeping reforms in every (and I do mean every) area of government? I'm going to go looking, reply as you all see fit to this last part.
