I should have said that I don't approve! It was a very important film, but I never appreciat taking 'historical liberties.' Which is why I also do not approve of the Bible.
BUT! Where the F was the bridge fight? William Wallice kicked English butt on some bridge...

Mel Gibson may be rated as a hunk, but I have no interest in doing him. While I've enjoyed many Mel Brooks and Mel Gibson films because they are great entertainment... but I'm not convinced in the scheme of things that they've produced any cinematic masterpieces.

Mel Gibson....

Mad Max is my personal fav...
Maybe Braveheart could take the title... It inspired a nation to govern itself...
Being the history nut that I am, I HATE the Patriot!

If you're really a history nut I would suggest you start hating Braveheart too.

I you're Scottish, it's fact.
If you're English, it's fiction.
If you're American It's just AWESOME!

It's basically only inspired by Blind Harry's poem and not actual facts.

Not that I mind actually. I would've sucked if it was actually true to history. A knight from a noble family who's father wasn't killed by the english and didn't actually wear a kilt would've sucked.

Duane: You know what they say about love and war.
Tim: Yes, one involves a lot of physical and psychological pain, and the other one's war.

No contest.

Although the others mentioned are excellent, only one as it all.
