PC HELP NEEDED

For some reason my computer really struggles with the new Windows Live Hotmail. Firefox can't load it, and IE is almost as pathetic. I really have no idea why though - any help nerds?

i had similar problem and solved it with cookie permissions. I use zone pro so it took some work. Live likes to use persistent and third party cookies, and if you block them it can take forever to load if it ever does.

Check out your permissions, and do a virus scan, as those never hurt. Are any other programs effected?

No, its just those 2, and only with Windows Live Hotmail.

replace windows live messenger (designed as an ad delivery system) with trillian (designed for user control). It uses less resources, is smaller, cleaner, and supports yahoo, aol, google talk etc also.

i used to use it but for some reason it literally started falling apart for me. message histories stopped working, then my skin acted all funky, then it started falsely putting people online and off and very oddly it would mark some peoples status as "orphaned" so just stopped using it, and believe me i tried everything. restarted comp, uninstalled and reinstalled and all that stuff
