I'm writing a book. It's called New York Jews, and other WASPs. You are all characters in it.

How can this travesty be? I don't live in New York.

3 men take a road trip together. On the 1st night they stop at a hotel. When they reached the front desk, the manager says a room will be $30 for one night. Each man gives $10 apiece equaling $30. Up to the room they go. 5 minutes later the manager was thinking........ "that room was only $25 I overcharged them by $5." The manager summoned the Bellboy and said "take these five dollars up to the 3 men I just rented that room to. On the way up there the bellboy thought to himself "how do I divide these $5 between 3 men." So being the smart bell boy that he was, he put two of the dollars in his pocket. When he got up to the room he knocked on the door. When one of the men opened the door, the bellboy explained that the manager over charged you for the room. Here's $3 back. Each man got $1 back....... now they have each paid $9 per man for the room. 3 Men x $9 per man equals $27. The Bellboy has $2 in his pocket. 27 plus 2 equals 29..... where is the other dollar?

Nice attempt sweet pea. The men paid $30, that was $5 to much. The $5 that was given back, was split 3/2 guests/bell boy. So 25+3+2 easy
