hey all you people who were curious enough to look at my tournament. I thank you!
I am accepting people with a score of 1400 and higher!
I bet you were wondering what the heck those words in my title mean! If you already knew what the words meant you are a LIAR or you wasted your time in college majoring in English . The words were used to entice you to click the link but they also explain what my tournament is about. Here are the words definitions.....
Definitions: Convivial - festive, merry company Internecine - destructive, slaughter, deadly, to kill out, exterminate perspicacious - perceptive, understanding
How words apply to the tournament: Convivial - We are all here to have fun and party. So it is a convivial environment. (until someone has bad dice ) internecine - In this tournament you will be all alone! you must kill all others to achieve victory! perspicacious - You must have good strategy to win the games. (or just be lucky)
The tournament will have 64 players and some reserves. There will be 3 elimination rounds and then 1 final round for a total of 4 rounds. You will play 8 games at a time and the top four players will advance to the next round. You will randomly be put into groups of 8 using random.org.
If there is a tie that affects the 4 people moving on you will play a 1 v 1 game on the random map with the same settings as the tournament. in the finals if there is a tie for 1st then we will do the same thing.
You will be given 48 hours to join games before you forfeit and I bring in a reserve. Unless you p.m. a reasonable explanation for not joining.
Sergent first class and above only. So you must have a higher score than 1400. Also premiums only since it is 8 games at a time.
hold 1 region in every continent = 10 points when you win you have every region including neutrals = 10 points
Negative points: hold australia/South America for any # of rounds = negative 10 points hold Europe/North America for any # of rounds = negative 15 points Hold Asia for any # of rounds = negative 20 points cashing before round 5 = negative 10 points suiciding in the opening few rounds = negative 100 points (DO NOT DO!)
you can technically have a negative score in the end. If you do I will be very upset with you but i can't actually do anything to you!
Hooray!
I applaud you wholeheartedly for making such a tournament. Im sure we all know a few players who would get a negative score .
The PoD is IN.
p.s. not sure about the bit about cleaning up the neutrals. I prefer to just kill all the people.
p.p.s. After what round number am I allowed to suicide?
p.p.p..s. Can I suggest one more rule? Anyone hitting a stack of more than 2 in the first 4 rounds will be punished by being forced to play 4-player flat rate games for the rest of eternity.

i will fix the neutral thing. If you take the whole map including neutrals to win without taking any extra time to kill all other opponents you will get those points. Ex. you take out everybody but fail to win promptly because you purposefully took the last neutral and it takes the other person one unneeded round to play. This means you don't get the points.
p.p.p.s. answer - if you can prove they did by taking a snapshot of said action then yes i will send them to play 4 player flat rate games forever (i am not trying to play god but i must take action here)
i will answer any more questions you have or any other problems you see

The rule about holding 1 country in each continent has been changed to "before winning". But surely the winner will always satisfy this condition a brief moment before winning (unless neutrals control a continent- yet another reason to kill them off ).
The condition is only nontrivial if it is applied to loosing players. But it seems that it no longer applies to them. Or maybe i missed the point.

on the turn that a person wins the game the points for holding one region in each continent does not apply. it is only before the game is won.
when you complete this objective either take a snapshot and explain what the snapshot is about or tell me in a p.m. that you have completed that objective. Ex. you complete this requirement but you are at risk of losing it before i can look.
another option is to have someone else in your game take a snapshot or say in the chat that they saw you complete 1 region in each continent.
