For play money, agree with Jake, Empire Poker is a good one. Steady table games & tournaments. If you're trying to improve your game with play money, that can be tough....people act stupid when it's not real. Try playing the large multi-table tournaments to see how far you can get....people sometimes do the same, & you get a more realistic to life poker game.

for beginners i recommend bodog.net, only because it's flash-based and doesn't require any downloads. But yeah, play money is useful for learning the ropes, but if you ever want to play for money it's good dtPlenty of siets have microstake tables - 10c/20c or whatever.

And i don't know about 2dimes, but i still have a soft spot for http://www.pokerroom.com or.net, because it's where i learned to play...

PokerStars.com let you have a pic for your avatar...pokerstars.net doesnot. And if you are from America, you are not allowed by law to gamble on PokerStars now, so it is all just make believe manzaska. No need to worry about paying anything.
