I heard a myth about an ancient post about myths which appeared on these very forums not two score days ago... Use thine eyes and thou shalt witness the mystery. Leave them closed and the Devil's own spawn, the Repost Behemoth, will arise and consume all about it...

I think it's an English thing.

Anyways, we've got the Jackalope, Bigfoot, and Harrison Ford here in Wyoming, take your pick.

Yeah, shapeshifting FTW, lucky thing Loki managed to get away with his head still in the right place.

The Myth of Free Speech always cracks me up - apparently at the beginning of the 21st century some poor deluded fools on the inter net though it was the last haven of free speech, equality and liberty.

But then the Great Myth Hunter (it rhymes) Twildo laughed and cried
"Free speech - that's even more ridiculous than the illuminati, or Suggs' hat. Shut up- I'm off to invade Poland".

Still, its a nice myth.

I heard a myth about a guy who got killed, and rose from the grave a few days later to save everybody. His name was superman, and his quet would be to destroy the Doomsday creature.

If you paint a mirror completely and perfectly black and stare at it in a room with absolutely no light it will become a window into hell.

If you piece together ever 666 seconds in every horror movie made in the 1980s in the order of release it will show the process of someone unidentifiable being brutally murdered in reverse, if you watch it all the way to the end you will see the victim is yourself sitting in a chair in a blank room staring at you.

Somewhere in the Nevada desert is a shack with a spiral staircase, it takes about an hour to reach the bottom. When you do there exists an open field that seemingly stretches on forever and an immense pile of human? bones. In the distance you can barely make out strange unearthly creatures. If you stare at any of them they will charge at you and attempt to devour you.

Now for a more fun one....

If you are driving east on I-80 in Nebraska when you reach a point where it heads north into Omaha and you are hungry you will smell exactly what you would like to be eating at that moment. Oddly, if you try to anticipate this the smell is always dry cat food. It only works if you aren't thinking about it.

Some things I have smelled doing this:
Salad with Ranch Dressing
Steak, and mashed potatoes with gravy.
Fried Chicken and Coleslaw.
Fruit Roll Ups.
Rock Road Ice Cream.
Dry Cat Food...... :x
