A few Q's
Should a person take part in their own tournament? Will their name still be added to the list of tournament winners provided they don't just award the tournament to themselves>Can a tournament have just two players?

Yes, a person can play in their own tournament as long as they play fairly and do not cheat to advance themselves.
Yes, even if they win their own tournament they will be added to the Hall of Tournament Winners for winning. This happened to Gozar.
No, a tournament must have at least 8 players and at least 7 games total to be considered public and get tournament privileges.
