I thought I might point out that the numbers are pulled through an encrypted connectionAlbroShlo wrote:I have my doubts it is Random.org. I also have my doubts this site is completely protected against malicious programmers and hackers. I have seen threads about people hacking the site more than once.Plutoman wrote:Also, if anyone truly has complaints that the numbers aren't random, go complain at random.org. That's where it all comes from, so blame them and get them to change if you want. They'll tell you the same thing we've been telling you.
Don't get me wrong i'm not saying i understand all the programming hullabaloo, but i do believe it is possible for someone to manipulate the dice between Random.org and CC.
BTW - it's dice not dices. dice is the plural of the word die.
Since your English is nothing short of pathetic, I'm rewording your formal letter of complaint for you. -I'll send you a bill later.Mr_Niels wrote:please staff of conquer club, make something thats fair to everyone! i keep loosign important situations that cost me the game! those dices keep killing ALL my men and do very little damage to the other one. im really pist off.. i love this game.. but come on, those dices are horrible!
maybe its because i live in Europe, because when my enemy is from the USA i keep losin! there's nothing wrong with my tactics!

my kid rolled double sixes three times in a row defending last week playin me in risk at the kitchen table, this was my second turn or so. I rolled double sixes three times in a row also once about 2 months ago. The dice here are more predictable than real dice I think for sure. At least the Idea of random is applied. Real life there is no real random, fair or chance. They are just ideas made up by us to make sense of stuff. The number columns at least have the whole random idea in play.Plutoman wrote:?Smugs wrote:I've been following these dice threads a little bit since I joined and all I have to say is that I've rolled 5 and 6 consecutive numbers (that is, rolling x number 5 or 6 times in a row) at least 7 or 8 times since I started playing. (Maybe 20-30 games)
I understand statistics and variance and the Gambler's Fallacy and other associated concepts but some of these results are so out there as to defy explanation.
The discussions about the RNG site returning multiple results over a series of clicks seems not only reasonable, but downright likely.
I could literally sit here and roll dice for the rest of my life and not roll six ones in a row, several times over, within a limited sample of 1,000 rolls. It's just not going to happen.
Oh well. I guess I've spent 25 bucks on worse things.
Sample of 1000 rolls, and you'll roll 6 1's likely at least once, possibly several times.
First JFK, then 9/11 and now The Dice conspiracy... The master plan is coming together nicelyMr_Niels wrote:maybe its because i live in Europe, because when my enemy is from the USA i keep losin!

Well, atleast I have two enemies in dual game. Dices and other player. I had 11 troops, enemy had 3. I rolled auto-attack. And what is the result? 3vs3!!Risktaker17 wrote:The dice are friends to everyone! Case and point!
So even if they are not random how are they your enemy - your opponent might get just as bad rolls on his turnMyand4 wrote:Well, atleast I have two enemies in dual game. Dices and other player. Ahh smart, The US is using a Canadian site to conceal it's global dominance over Risk games...Twill wrote:Heimdall...We're a canadian site, why the hell would we help ensure USA Dominance? Really, get your conspiracies right!
