Agreed! Thank God I didn't loose a family member!
I was 9 when war broke out and I remember the fear, the shelter in my basement (where almost all my neighbors came regularly), my father that was on guard duty with civil defense (he volunteered for army, but they turned him down because he was too old so went to civil defense), refugees that we took...
Any my village wasn't so affected by war (although we were 4 miles from enemy positions they only managed to blow up our gas station).
I'm a pacifist but effects of that war are still strong in me.

Did you rip a capitalist Serbian pig apart with your bare hands and show him his beating heart before he died?

Nappy I would probably do that to you.
Serbs were mislead by their politicians and media so they thought we are going to kill them all.
How Tuđman who came to power in Croatia was a fascist (In fact he was a former Yugoslav army general).

So they went to "preventive war"...

The truth is I don't know how to kill and I'm not a sociopath so why would I do such a thing?

No, they just make more problems. More guns, better guns = more people die!

If guns are solution are we the problem they need to fix?

It depends who is invading. I'm a lily livered lacksadaisical bastard at heart, so I'd prob. only fight the French.

To be honest, the Germans would probably do a better job governing the Uk than we have.

Problem: Thug attempts to commit armed robbery and/or murder and/or rape.

Thug shot dead.

Problem solved.

But we digress.....would I fight for my country? Yes, I have, and would again.

So how did robber came in possession of a gun?
Gun is a problem of your story and second gun is the solution?
Solution is better educational programs and gun-free society (at the end).

Gun can't do a good thing because his main purpose is to kill.
