actually, ignotus and GT may have a point there.

think about it. ametrica and middle east/china/north korea/generic enemy of americaland have a nuclear war. a big one. one that renders the entire world uninhabitable except - you guessed it - antarctica!

Well brooksieb... You met a lot of penguins in Falklands, maybe they can help us.
Or we can just pay Chuck Norris to stop the radiation with his bare hands.

China or India. Or both. Either way, this century is generally labelled the Asian Century by political forecasters, as opposed to the American Century before that.

It will either be Asia or Europe. Probably Europe, at least in the sense that they'll have more stronger countries. The U.S. will probably start becoming reclusive again in the style of the 20s and 30s, and China, Russia, and India will be the three major powers of Asia. Well, they are now, but they'll bring the entirety of the continent to the forefront of the globe. South America will probably remain stagnant, and parts of Africa will begin the ascent to greatness, while the rest (mainly the ones still in factional warlord infighting) will still be pretty fucked.
The inflation rate in Zimbabwe just hit 4 million percent. Some people say it is only 165,000, but they are just being stupid. -Scott Adams, artist and writer of Dilbert

Somewhat debatable (to a point anyways) but I don't feel like debating it though.

Antarctica cannot melt because it's land. The ice can melt, yes, but Antarctica itself cannot melt. Otherwise it wouldn't exactly be a continent.

I love this post. I imagine it like a used car advertisement on the radio with some sort of really annoying distortion on global warming. I love it.

I predict that Koala Bears will first take over Australia, then Oceania, then the rest of the world. First by luring unsuspecting people in with their cuteness, then brutally raping them with Eucalyptus branches.

Well duh, I thought that was fairly obvious... And they're gonna make Tokyo their HQ, hence the Asian Century.

I thought it was Hawaii. That way, they can launch numerous attacks onto both Asia and the Americas.
