How dare it be suggested that a Great Britain map full of antiquiated names made by an American living in Japan be "innaccurate" somehow. Horray for the map we have!

[EDIT] That being said, I'd totally dig a London map.

Technically that map isn't great britian if my information is correct, because GB couldn't be called that until it annexed Ireland.

Nobody likes the Irish anyway. It's a map of the British Isles, which Ireland is part of unfortunatly.

Do you intend a map of the British Isles or a map of Great Britain, or a map of the UK?

We already have a map for the British Isles, a map of Great Britain would be England, Wales and Scotland. A map of the United Kingdom would have everything the great Britain map has plus northern Ireland.

that map that's been suggested is too cluttered, the counties are too small so the person who designed the current map grouped them for a reason

that being said, i wish somerset were a seperate territory from dorset in the map...

but you can't have everything can you?

No it isn't, its part of the UK not of Great Britian. That's why the country is known as The United Kingdom of Great Britain AND Northern Ireland.

Yours pedantically etc etc

Yes, snowman is right on this one.

Anyway as someone else said there is separate map of Ireland, so why not create a separate GB map? Or perhaps someone could focus on three different maps of England, Scotland and Wales.

First time poster here (yay!) i just felt compelled to say that in the current map Sussex is where Hampshire should be. Sussex is Hampshire's next-door neighbour and is to the east of Hampshire. I know because i live there.
