Ladies of CC vs. the Gentlemen of CC Tourney

This is a small tournament to celebrate all of you that LOVE to kick butt on this site! We ladies consider the thought of world domination just like you guys and this is a tournament just for us to see if in the end who will beat out who. I'll take a moment to feel bad for all the guys that participate......there! Done! I know how blood-thirsty us females can be so this could be fun!

What this will consist of is the guys going head to head to be in the final game, and the ladies doing the same. So in the end the top lady and top guy will go 1-on-1 for the win. Only one game loss to be eliminated!

This is a bragging rights win! If this goes well I hope to have this tourney again.


Number or players: 16 females & 16 males may participate = 32 participants
Map: Random, but excluding AoR Magic & Might, WWII Gazala, Waterloo and any other crazy complicated map
Game Type: Standard 1-on-1
Play Order: Seq.
Bonus Cards: None
Fortifications: Chained
Fog of War: Yes

I'm starting off small. This is my first tournament so until I practice I want to keep it simple.

The games will be 1-on-1 until the final 2 player go head to head and the settings for that final game will be:

Map: Random, but excluding AoR Magic & Might, WWII Gazala, Waterloo and any other crazy complicated map
Type: Standard
Play Order: Seq.
Bonus Cards: Escalating
Fortifications: Chained
Fog of War: No

If you'd like to join please post which side you'll be fighting on so that I may list appropriately. All are welcome, but you must have a free spot to dedicate to the tourney for as long as you qualify. Tourney will start once everyone signs up and when I have privileges. I will not allow dead beating! If you sign up be prepared to play. It's not fair to leave your opponent hanging. Not getting into your assigned game within 48 hrs of being notified is grounds for being replaced by a reserve. Thx!

Because I really don't get that Gazala Map, and the other 2 really do require practice on (especially that freaking Magic, lol). Thx for asking though.

There are more people who don't know the tricks of those maps and to be good at them (or at least understand them) you need to know the tricks of them. And yes, especially Waterloo because you are fighting for it And I'm quite sure that there's a higher number of people who dislike those maps.
Also, she is the organiser and she can ban any map as she wants. If you don't like what she does then you have the right to drop out and make your own tournament or join those that support your best weapons

Exactly the reason why those maps are dis-allowed, lol. Plus I didn't want to take the chance that a pair would end up w/ an expert and a novice on a complicated map.
