New Foundry Helpers: "Stamp Lickers"

The Foundry staff is pleased to announce the addition of some new helpers - Foundry regulars who, while continuing their work as mapmakers, will also assist the CAs with their stamping duties. We welcome RjBeals, cairnswk, MrBenn, and Ruben Cassar on as CA deputies, or as we have taken to calling them, Stamp Lickers.

Maps will continue to progress through the Foundry as before: a topic will go through the Ideas stage until stamped, but upon entry into the Main Foundry some maps will be assigned to a Stamp Licker who will be responsible for stamping that map for either gameplay or graphics (not both). Lickers will follow the the discussion in their topics, provide constructive feedback, and report back to the CAs when the maps are ready to be stamped. It is our hope that by lightening the workload on any one individual, the CA/Licker responsible for the stamping of a map will have the time to more closely follow the progress and discussion around each map, thereby speeding up the overall Foundry process.

From time to time we will continue to seek the help of trusted mapmakers and regular Foundry posters to wield stamps, collect data, or babysit parts of the Foundry for us. We appreciate the work that all of you do to keep the Foundry running, and we hope that you will stand ready when called to serve.

I must say that i notice Mrbenn give Idea Stamp for some map,and i send hem a PM to look Europe 1914,but still nothing. Some map get very fast Idea stamp and stikied(5-7 days),and i realy want to know procedure for geting these stamp.

I've resigned from being a stamp licker. The group has a handful of good people, and I'll continue to watch the maps I'm interested in, but will not be stamping anything.

You're not supposed to ask for a stamp, Lickers and Cartoes will find and stamp your map if it needs to be stamped, buy patience, they sell it at walmart (commonly called Beer)

If i dont ask for stamp,then i probably never get stamp.
Well aim afraid,that if other Lickers have like Cairnswk only 3 maps to watch,then probably nobody of these lickers watch mine map,or dont watch other maps to.
You can have only 10-12 maps who watch these squad,and give stamps,and these can be only 3-4 map makers maps.

If anything, those of us who are watching the stamp lickers maps are even more critical than normal on these maps...there is no favouritism, i can assure you.

Qwert, you know the foundry has slowed down a bit because of the hold up in the quenching and loading of new maps. Once lackattack get all maps ups, i am sure gimil and oaktown and Andy will start the process rolling again, and everyone get their map put up ->even you with Imperium Romanum.

And your map in Ideas is not forgetten. Once again, you simply have to be patient, please

I will get to your maps eventually, after I look at my others. I've looked at most of the other maps on my list, so I'll get to your map soon. But me visiting it still doesn't guarantee a stamp for it.

I've been licking maps for just about a week, and just took Europe on as one of mine YESTERDAY, which means that it wasn't my job to lick it until i got it yesterday.
I am planning to check on all the maps I haven't responded to , INCLUDING YOURS, today.

I went and looked over your map a day or two ago, I just didn't comment. So trust me, you aren't getting ignored. I just assumed that you'd be able to reach the stamp requirements by the next time I came around to check.

These is not complain, i just want to know how these map lickers squad work,its these bad?
For now only Cairnswk say what map he watch and these deserve . I hope that these is not secret for other people to know,and aim most interesting to know that.
Mine problem is when i see something what aim not like,then i say openly(not using bad words),probably because that some people hate me,and probably some people like me.
