MORE RUSSIA (AP): In preparation for their appearance before the Conquer Club Supreme Court, the Double Rainbow Society has been assembling a high powered team of lawyers to represent them. Leading the defense for the DRS will be American defense lawyer F. Lee Bailey. Concerns have been raised, however, about the fact that Mr. Bailey is only board certified to practice law in the North American Continental Bonus on the Classic Board. Should the trial be held elsewhere, then Mr. Bailey may not be permitted to appear in court on behalf of his client. When asked about this issue, Mr. Bailey seemed not to be concerned.

"I'm confident that the Court will see fit to carry out this trial in some section of the North American Continental Bonus. There's really no reason to try this case in a place like Oceania or More Russia. really? calling on people to eliminate a player in any game they play with the member, to get a pass into your clan isn't a bounty? hmmmm, what is a bounty? A bounty is often offered by a group as an incentive for the accomplishment of a task by someone usually not associated with the group. Bounties are most commonly issued for the capture or retrieval of a person or thing. They are typically in the form of money. yeah, i construed some sort of meaning from your "bounty" that was not the original intent. again:

Accordingly, DRS has temporarily suspended its rigid membership requirements and will welcome into the clan any conquer club member, regardless of rank, who PM's myself or Siedshow99 evidence of a game where the player has eliminated Qyu from the game.

This offer will continue without interruption until Qyu issues a public apology to trapyoung, jpeter15, and the Double Rainbow Society for his senseless and inappropriate slander of two distinguished DRS majors.

To play devils advocate, in this post it does not at all say, go out and single out this player and take him out. It simply says, show us proof of you taking out player "X", and should you want you will have access to our clan.

And what's the quickest way for doing that? Finding an open game awaiting players with that person and joining it, then concentrating on him.

The best part of all of this is that people tend to have a problem with DRS, but their solution is to run and hide instead of settling it on the CC battlefield. Nobody will step up and actually take us on....instead they'd rather bitch and moan on the forum making groundless accusations...

and trap is completely right, we haven't done a damn thing wrong. What, we encourage (which according to you guys isnt even encouragement becuase nobody wants to be a part of DRS anyways) people to take out some guy that got way out of line with one of our members? How are we negatively impacting these games? Isnt the point of all these games to take out your opponents anyways?

You've probably alientated yourself from all the top clans in CC as well, for such a dishonourable tactic as a bounty on someone's head. Your not trying to say its all joke and not to take you guys seriously. maybe we have to add liar's and maniplulator's to you crimes.

You first issued a bounty on Qyu, for reporting one of your clansman for cheating! everyone has a right to accuse someone else if they like. This doesnt give you the right to try and humiliate and gang up on another player. We are here for fun and not bullying!

why does your main arguement have to be "this isnt about you"?

in the cc community the actions of others, and the precedents set effect everybody.

DRS, singling out a player before a game and specifically targeting them (or inciting others to specifically target them), without their knowledge is hardly within the spirit of ConquerClub - one might even call it a pre-meditated alliance organized outside of game chat and thus "illegal"

If you are going to attack another player, or single out others for beat-downs, then issue a proper challenge so that they can have a fair fighting chance. Smacking them down in flame wars is hardly the gentlemanly way to go about it.

Hulmey, a PM or an eticket would have been a much better approach to this

I'm going to lock this thread because it's clear that nobody is interested in going anywhere except flameville with it.
