I'd be more stoked over the impeachment things, except that every high-ranking Dem has said that they're not going to pursue impeachment, so it's all really symbolic.

And Gip, Senators are in Congress. It's the job of the House to introduce impeachment proceedings.

And believe you me - whatever grounds we can impeach Bush on (and then remove him from office, not actually the same thing) would go double for Cheney. If Democrats find some balls somewhere (God knows where), we'd have President Pelosi, not President Cheney.

My brother is in the Corps, he has to hold his tongue all the time. His most basic response if we get into a political dispute is: "I am a United States Marine and am proud to serve my country!"

But I know that he thinks Bush is a cock sucker, I mean we've been brothers for over thirty years! But he won't ever say anything until he retires, and he is going to string it out another 2 years.

One thing he did mention to me was why he decides to not live on the main land. Basically, he hinted at that the main land will fall apart into chaos and marital law coming down on everyone's heads. The American Citizen will have to give up all their rights to the Federal Government.

If asked to pick up arms against American citizens...will you do it?

I think the answer to that is much harder to stumble upon until such a situation arises.

And as far as Impeaching Bush/Cheney...it's way to late for that bullshit now! The Dems needed to usher that through earlier, the damages have already been wrought.

Yes, It's arguable to say that he has committed no crimes. Mostly because the damning evidence is hidden, or he has re-defined it. He has ignored U.S. treaties, like the Geneva convention, but he hides behind definition. But since he did authorize the release of Valerie Plames info for political revenge, that is treason, no? He put our whole spy network at risk, and severly damaged our actual ability to fight terrorists. And I am having a hard time not believing that Bush authorized the anthrax attacks too. It was a weaponized version that only 4 people in the U.S. would have access to? Seems to me that we should have caught the perp. But again, there must be some hidden damning evidence. Plus, if you've read the link I added, you gotta know that there is some good stuff in there. I can't wait to here what he has to say for himself!
