Isaw a guy do the opposite once - turn up in the exam room (2nd year of a History degree), and couldn't find his seat.
"Oh," says the Invigilator, "todays's the 7th. NOT the 14th."

Mind you for the next paper, I lost the exam room - thought it was in building A and it was instead in a building I'd never been to and only found halfway through the exam time.

Anyhow, that sucks. The closest I've come to missing a final was about halfway through. It was for invertebrate biology and I don't think I was doing so hot in the class to begin with. Something about bugs...

ouch... ouch. that really sucks. I was just looking around to post a thread about high school seniors, an how we will graduate (or have graduated like I did last Friday!), but, er... now I feel mean. Really hope things turn out for you, Ink. It'd suck to be a fifth-year senior.

On a totally unrelated note, I'm finally completely sober after last night, which feels good.

I'm not sure I believe you.

But if this is true, then it's all about inflicting an injury on yourself, then blaming it on a traffic accident en-route to the exam.

After all, who is going to think you were stupid enough to self-harm? It's all about going the extra-mile y'see...

If I were you, I'd have a friend hit me with a car. Works everytime. Have the friend drive between 20-25 MPH, then simply jump up landing sidways onto the hood, and roll backwards(mind the windshield). Make sure to wrap your arms around your head! If you do it right, you shouldn't break any bones(though this can only help you), but you should get some very good bruising. Mind the pavement when you land.
You can even make out some fake hospitalization papers on Microsoft Word. Take them to get photocopied somewhere, and do your best to run-down the quality. Make sure to have your friend fill them out with BLACK INK too(after photocopying)!

Nope, no idea. I probably won't know until I get the report card.

I'm pretty sure he'll count it though... call it a hunch. I'm just lucky like that.

...Of course, I got a 63 on the final, and dropped from an 85 to 80... but no worries...
