Not necessarily
It would make a wonderful way for exile to escape notice as scum. Dito was by far the crowd's favorite for being lynched when he chimed in. If you think about it, all he has to do is come up with a role name and rattle of 2 vote counts each day and he'll stay in the clear. If any suspicion should ever fall on him after dito's lynch, he simply has to say "he was telling the truth, so am I"

I suppose, although in a game this large wouldn't one logically assume that a role so close to that which has been claimed would already be in the game and therefor impossible to claim?
There is a possibility that neither of them is telling the truth as well and they are subtly verifying each other's claim. (though that's unlikely for day one.)

Exile has been looking scummy for awhile now, in my opinion. But I think it's too late with the size of this game, if you guys want a lynch there's probably no option other then Ditto at this point but my vote won't go there. Personally I'd rather see a no lynch today then Ditto lynched, I really don't think he's the proper lynch because he got feed up, it happens to every mafia player at some point.

I'm inclined to agree with you Kalish regarding ditocoaf, I don't like voting on a lynch for the sake of lynching, especially when I am unconvinced that the person being voted for is of the scum variety.

You're failing to see that if we don't get rid of someone today, we'll just have set our selves back to square one. We'll have basically wasted 33 pages and lots of everyone's time.

We need to lynch someone, and then see what happens form there.

Not really 33 pages of argument and discussion is perfectly sufficient, a lot has emerged on these pages that can be read up on... like bandwagoners etc.. who agrees with who.. who defends who... I'm sure the night will generate a lot of potential leads that can be further built on the next day phase. Day 1 is always a random fest anyways.

william18 wrote:Well first of all I think that Lord Voldemort is Tom Marvalo Riddle, due to the message we got. Saying that IM LORD VOLDEMORT doesn't make any sence and it doesn't help the town, but when you switch it around, it say IM TOM MARVALO RIDDLE. I know I mentioned this before but the fact she used IM instead of just Lord Voldemort makes me think if it was meant for that. Plus the convincy of Lord Voldemorts name to be made possible into a riddle that tells his role is a rare occurance and I doubt Skoffin would pass up on it.

Read the chamber of secrets ;) Tom Riddle and Lord Voldemort are the same person

Well, well, well. I totally forgot I was in this game. Looking back though I do kinda remember confirming(Even though I was volunteered to play  ). LOL....anyway, my skoffin like scummarining has gone on long enough. I must catch up on what's going on and blindside you all with brilliant logic and reasoning. As for the Lord Voldemort thing, why is this even a discussion. Harry Potter was huge....what'd you do, sleep under a rock for the last 10 years???

Technically, the deadline is long passed.. and I don't think you'd have made it anyway, but it would be unfair to punish you lot because of forum downtime. So I will give you untill morning.
I will be also proddin a number of people, I might miss a few so say who you think needs prodding.

Exactly, just because no one dies on a Day 1 does not mean that it was a waste of a day. In some games a Day 1 lynch is absolutely imparative but those games tend to be slow-movers with not many people joining the discussion. In this particular game we've had many good, active discussions and a lot of info has come out and we have many leads to pursue in the future so I'd much rather see a no lynch today then a poor lynch not based on game mechanics but rather based on a specific player's level of frustration.

When I was a 'noob' I always thought that a lynch every day was the way to go but as time went on its importance gets downplayed when a decent amount of info has been put out and sometimes a lynch benefits the scum more then the town. Not to mention that our vig(s) probably won't kill tonight (unless they're dumb and/or think that they are smart) but the scum definitly will (I'll bet there's at least 2 scum groups + an SK or 2, knowing Skoffin and the game size) so we're already looking at anywhere between 2 and 6 deaths tonight, I think the last thing we need to do is make a poor lynch to make the scum's job easier.

If you guys wanna try to lynch scum, I'm down, but I'm not voting for someone I'm 90% sure isn't scum on this Day.

It's a moot point. Most likely, skinoff will log in for the morning and declare it night one. Just for the record, though, I find myself agreeing with wha kalish, nag, and wiliam said. It makes sense.

long time, no post :D

Anyway I agree there is no need to lynch Dito at this moment, and I find Exile the scummier of the two. But really there is no need to vote either of them. Though I do like Kalish's theory that I read. I think this game needs a Mandy. :D Anyway, I'm not voting Dito just for the deadline as he's probably town. Though he could be jester. Sometimes the more subtle way to play jester isn't the best. ;) It can be WIFOMED :D YAY 4 WIFOM!!!! No one I find really scum, though I must say I think TWO is town. Honesty is something only townies would use, and it seems that TWO was honest.Unvote, Vote: Skoffin :D
