It's needed because sometimes the goal of a tournament isn't necessarily to win the the specific game. It could be to get the most points in a round, to win the majority of a group of games, or some other format. In those cases you would need to know that your only real objective remaining in a game is to prevent player A from winning more than ensuring you win yourself.
It's also needed because for people who might play multiple games on the same gametype (I like Pearl Harbor
) then it would help them make sure that they are taking their time. Sometimes I don't necessarily take the full amount of time I should to consider each move. I do for my tournament games - or at least I try to, when I can remember which games are tournament games to begin with.Priority: Probably a 2.
