After I read your first post, I was hoping that you are some kind of uber-Cop capable of finding Godfathers. But, given that your accusation had been totaly unfounded, you are promoted to No. 2 on my Scum-list.

Oh come on Mandy, you supposedly try to kill Selin then do not even wonder why he didn't die and proceed to accuse me on the basis of my vote on him. That's out of character and scummy, therefore brings more credit to my crazy theory. I'd be open to start with your lynch anyway; after all a vig who randomly tries to kill high profile players has a good chance to be scum :P

Yeah, good post militant. I wouldn't leave the eye off dano for now, as you can see, he was squirming for a way out when you put the pressure on him.

Finally some wise words ;)

Good players are mostly targeted to get rid of them. Without having any specific reason why mandy should choose me to kill, the whole story (that he chose me as target) is highly suspicious. However there is a simple explanation for that (other than all those more complex ones with busdrivers or doctors protecting me); mandy lies most probably. This would have been a clever move, because knowing that I didn't die last night, he forced other townie roles to claim either that they protected/not protected or busdriven/not busdriven me. This would have given some valuable information to scum.

There maybe some other reason why mandy is lying, but honestly said, my whole mafia experience tells me to lynch liars as fast as possible.

Vote: mandy

*grins* This is getting interesting. I reread Mandy's explanation on why he targeted you, and while it's not very convincing it could go either way. I remember one of the times I was town vig where I killed Sierra "just in case" cause he's too good at scum
Anyway, there's something basically fishy with this. We had 3 kills, this is a fair bit for a 16 player game. I do not believe there could be 1/4th of the players with nightkill powers in this. Therefore the only thing that could make Mandy not a liar is an eventual busdrive I think.
Unvote Vote Mandy
FOS Selin, Dano :P

And ga7:

I didn't react on your vote, because

a) at first sight I thought you were joking referring to our former mafia games like Lost and Grimm's Fairy Tales, where I voted scums with their names (and was right).

b) I wanted to see the reaction of others who didn't play those mafia games (if they start bandwagonning etc.). The only one who reacted on you was mandy and AD. Mandy didn't get it, but thought it could be a joke. AD asked you, if you are serious. As AD was the mod of Lost mafia game, I thought I don't need to answer him and indicated that in my post to him.

While rereading I realized Mandy can't be scum. From the night scene:
Skittles! wrote:The Prise is lost without their leader, Paranoia, so will Hundriah take the burden of up-keeping the riddle from God? It's all up to grabs.[/i]

It was thought that Mandy's name was potentially a fakeclaim since it was so obscure. Now I see it in the scene writeup, it's dubious that it could be a scum fakeclaim.
Unvote
Hmm. Now unfortunately I'm satisfied with Selin's explanation and realized that most likely Mandy's kill never reached him.
I think I'll follow Mili's case on Dano, which is pretty compelling.
Vote Dano

Selin wrote:We need 9 votes for a lynch and have less than 48 hours :!:

Vote: dano for various reasons

1) lots of vote hopping
2) skimmimg many times. There are other examples, but he reached the peak when he posted at the end of page 13 that Iliad is a cop and therefore unvoted him. After all the heavy discussions between sierra and iliad, and Iliad explaining in many posts about his protection abilities like doctor, I cannot accept that someone still think Iliad is a cop.
3) voting unlynch which can only help scum, and stating in the same post that "I'm just worried my knowledge of C&C will cause the mafia to vote me off"

There are some other smaller indications, but the above three are the three main ones.

.

And this was my post of yesterday after I explained why I do believe that pancake was not a scum (and I was right again). Only militant followed that post and voted dano. All others ignored it and pancake was lynched. Now militant comes with more or less the same argumentation and some start to say how good that post was. Very interesting. :!:

I won't comment more on that for the time being.

I find the context pretty different there. You voted for Dano (after several others had found him fishy) putting the first vote on him at the 48h deadline when Pancake was at 3 votes and more likely to get lynched. Mili brings back the Dano case with the added incriminative elements at the start of a fresh day, making it easier to follow and discuss as we don't have as much pressure for a lynch. If anything, if Dano is in fact scum that would make me more suspicious of you who votes him when he can't be likely to get lynched and avoids voting him when he can

Vote Dano, as the only thing going against his lynch at this point is theme knowledge.

GA7 and Selin...

You two are in my top 5 of best players. By best, of course, I mean actually putting the time and thought into coming up with well-thought arguments.

I have nothing to add, because these two have said it all.

Vote: Dano

Sure, if you're gonna be all reasonable we'll never get a decent name-calling going.

Well, I guess Militant's case against Dano makes sense. Unvote Clive since no one loves me enough to join my crusade against him. vote Dano

A vote count to see where we are would be nice

Dano-a townie isn't a dramatic loss, and knowledge can be learnt if at tiems necessary
