A country meet-up doesn't work so well in the U.S... It would be too expensive for me to fly over to the east coast, where the meetup would undoubtedly be. I'd suggest subdividing the U.S. more, say to three states or so, but then the scale wouldn't be nearly as grand.

That's why we compromise and go to the middle : Chicago.

Ugh... I still couldn't travel to chicago, much as I would like to. I think for many people (myself included) it would only be reasonable to ask them to visit a neighboring state. Then again, I'm a college student, so my limitations might be more (or less) than most others.
