Five free speed games to non-premium members

Concise description:

• This suggestion would allow all non-premium members to have five free speed games.

Specifics:

• Fairly self-explanatory. Once the five games run out the player would get a notification of this.
• In order to avoid new recruits from creating a new account every five games to play a new set of speed games, there would have to be a minimum games played in order to enjoy this feature.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:

• Many new recruits have complained that they do not know what a speed game is like (http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... &sk=t&sd=a), and they would like to know what they are paying for. Thus increasing the number of paid users in the long run.

I don't like this, nor do I think it will get approved.
If you want to play a speed game, you should pay your $25, no free "test games".

I don't seriously expect this one to pass. I thought the idea was worth mentioning, however, so it gets shot down or implemented. I have heard more than one free player complaining about this.

There isn't a big difference between regular and speed games. If you really want to try it, just pay 25.

Whilst that thread is not actually marked *rejected* I seriously doubt that this is something lack would consider. Freemium membership allows members to experience everything the site has to offer with the exception of speed and private games. Neither require any great leap of imagination to realise what the differences are and so, it seems to me, there is no need to demonstrate these options within the freemium membership.

Also please remember that it's a good idea to use the 'search' box (it's next to the 'new topic' button) to see if there are existing discussions on a particular suggestion. That way, if you find an existing discussion, you can join in and also see any useful posts - both for and against - that might influence your own thinking. It also helps to keep the forum tidy
