If I may make one suggestion, perhaps mix the seeding up a touch so the same teams aren't playing each other in the round of 8 in both parts.... keep it interesting. Besides, it's not like there's going to be a ton of difference between, say, seeds 7 and 8.

Plus, that way, for a team to win both parts 1 and 2, they'll possibly have to defeat all but one other team, rather than the potential minimum of 3 if the seedings are the same for both parts.
