I believe that, if Benjikat is Dead had all these passwords stored on this computer, quite possibly, for account sitting etc. considering they were all team-mates, benjis widow, from the UK would be able to hack all these accounts and screw with them all. Absolutely nuts.... I don't know, but a restoration of their original points, should be in order as this is a special case... I don't know how easy that is to do for lack et al though.

why are his points so high?

here is what I have documented as a high score which im thinking was also influence since this was achieved real recently.

I totally disagree with this decision. If his account was point dumped by another player than he needs to stop handing out his password. I said it one hundred times. A player is responsible for his own account. If this stands, his score is getting removed form the high scores. 4323 score is tainted.

I am sure the mods/admins will adjust points.

i think they are letting them back to access there accounts so they don't miss too many turns and further impact the site

Even as a guest you can access your account and play turns, you just cant start new games. As for his score, allowing Velvecarrots to stay at 4300 will set a president which I am not sure the mods will want to be made.

Although, they still had no access as emails and passwords got changed on them, so i hope old passwords got restored from a backup or other source

well I think im going to remove his name from the high scores anyway because the score I have documented was achieved recently and im thinking there was probably foul play involved with that too. The various kinds of abuse on this site is way out of hand and all we do is turn the cheek and walk away with blinders on.

I do not think our accounts are safe yet -- since ben's wife might have the password reset links to each of our accounts.

The accounts were hacked, the people affected are happy with the points going back to the way they were, and two accounts have lost premium status. I would say:
a) It's not just another points dumping thread
b) Something has been done

FFS do I need to put you on foe again? If you had read the thread up to this point, instead of simply regurgitating an opinion you would have seen how she got the passwords and why they were accessible in the first place.

not sure. Why do so many players have access to so many accounts? Example, Scot-land has many passwords for various accounts that he can log on at any given time and play. Than when something happens, everyone starts yelling that they are innocent. WRONG ! you were guilty as soon as you gave your password information out.
