My American tournament consists of 64 premium players. There will be 5 rounds (Rounds 1-3, Semifinal, Final). Each game will have the settings:
8 players, Standard, Sequential, Escalating, Unlimited, Sunny.
At the end of each game, you are scored on your position, with your score being your position subtracted from 9. At the end of each round, only the top 4 from the group will go through to the next round. The groups will be shuffled between rounds.
Please note, the final will have only 4 players.
In the final, you get double the points: if you rank 3rd place, you obtain 12 points (8 + 1 - 3)*2
The points carry over between the sections and rounds. The player with the most points at the end is crowned champion!
