This is exactly what I meant !!

You join a six player singles game, to notice a fellow clan member to join, too ---> you can count on him making such decisions along the game that you, rather than someone else, win the game - or if you just can't win, at least you do your best that your fellow clan member wins.

All this without a need to "make a truce" as such, or actually without a need to say a word, publicly or privately. This time he wins, next time it's probably you, and thus you're not cannibalizing points off from each other but rather getting more with the help of each other. And this is not against The Rule 2 ?!??

Or is there a (silent?) agreement that clan members are not joining singles games together ?!!

Andre is presumably talking about team games in which he fights alongside his fellow clan members.
As far as the Dragoons goes, when we are playing standard games against non clan members it is strictly every man for himself. There is no sentiment and most definitely no spoken or unspoken secret alliances.

Hm. You're saying, it's NOT affecting your decisions in the game? Not even when it's a three way draw, and you're deciding to suicide because otherwise it's going to be a long lasting build up.... One of the other players is clan pal, the other is not ...so you suicide on him, or not ?

what I'm saying is perfectly clear. In a standard game, we play to win. The fact that other clan members may also be playing is simply not a factor in our decision making.

to be perfectly honest i quite enjoying beating up on fellow clan members in signles games. internal bragging rights isnt it?

either way i think most clan members are mindful of collusion accusations and either try and avoid games with other clan members already present or treat them the same as any other player. i know thats what i do. i know ive had a couple of beatings from fireside poet and marvaddin too : P

yeh we often play open games (game system where the dragoons and other nice people and high rankers play) in which a couple of other clan members will be present. this doesn't affect the game at all. in fact it makes it better coz u know some people and it livens up the chat :)
being in a clan is a really gd thing if the clan is gd. i would say from wat i know there are only a few gd clans around and i personally consider the dragoons the most active. of course i am biased but u just hav to look at the volume of the games and all the dragoons shields pics all over the forum posters

Look at this one:
http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=118022

Ron killed me (his clan mate) and gave the game to AndrewO (not a Dragoon)...
We are never looking at clan mates as allies in standard games, or teams games where one team has non-dragoons players. We all play to win.
