Yeah, I managed to escape unbitten mainly because my secondary focus was to keep it's jaws a away from my body. My primary focus was to keep it from getting on top of me. The dog is small enough that I could fairly easily push it off if it did get on top of me but still a bad position to be in.

In puppy news. My sister is in town and she's brought her own dog a 38 lb; 8 month old mutt that we think is has some setter mixed in. The problem is he really does not like Murphy. We've had to keep them seperated since she got here 2 days ago and every time they're in the same room, he's attacked Murphy.

Guinness on the other hand has been great around Murphy. They don't play much, mainly because Guinness weighs over 7 1/2 times his weight, however he's been more than just tolerant of his presence.

Now it's time for strike's actor of the day.

Today's actor is Aaron Eckhart for his role in The Dark Knight. I really liked him as Harvey Dent and only wish that his character could have come back for the next movie.

Strike's actor of the day award is sponsored by the wolf/curl campaign.

Well, the kids are off to Summer Camp reunion, so Mra Curl and I are spending a couple of child-free days in Lambertsville, which we are told is a fine place.

Song of the Day:Balls to the Wall by Accept

Movie: A Christmas Story (a lot of people I have met haven't finished this movie for some reason)

Actor: Bing Crosby (YOU watch White Christmas 3 days in a row and not have his songs stuck in your head)

In Other News; I have become addicted to the game Mass Effect for the Xbox 360.

In honor of the upcoming New Year I am going to start on my list for things of the year.

Today I will go over strike's movie of the year.

And this year's movie is The Dark Knight. This movie was an easy choice for the top spot. Even if I had not felt it was the best movie I had seen in '08, the buzz around it and the record numbers it produced made it an easy pick. Top that off with superb acting, excellent action and a highly coherent plot and you've got the easiest top spot decision there is.

Strike's movie of the year is brought to you by the wolf/curl campaign.

Time for the actor of the day..

Todays is Vince Vaughn. His role in 4 christmases was hilarious and serious.

Do you want to say two things of the day? Seeing how you missed your chance yesterday.

Well that was a stupid moment. If you were going to be a bandwagoner even just a mock bandwagoner whose only sarcastically supporting the idea, you could at least put some effort into it. I mean that's what Mtg and UCA did.

Of course not. A bandwagon consists of a minimum of three people. Technically, Muy would be the first bandwagoner.

I really have never been able to get excited about New Years. It's just another day on the calender and with all the celebration from Christmas still fresh I'm usually a bit celebrated out.

a brief hello from Lambertville before my battery runs out.
A fine place, right on the Delaware. If you walk across the bridge, you're in New Hope, another town, and you're also in Pennsylvania. The biggest difference is the bars on this side of the border are non-smoking, and it is stunning how used I have got to that. I couldn't bear to sit in a bar in New Hope. I guess it would have been different if I couldn'ta walked a quarter mile and been back in NJ.
