I am being invited to games by friends and am not able to search by game number, and not able to find the games at all for some reason.

Are you typing in the numbers correctly?
Try searching using the "With Player" function, and type in your friends' names.

Was doing all those things i also couldnt find any games by searching with player but now it seems to be fixed somehow. thanks

New recruits can't join certain games. Now that you've finished 5 games, you can join any game you like.
