Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he raise his hand when the candidates where asked "who here doesn't believe in evolution?"
and this would be relevant how?
How do you trust a guy who cannot seperate reality from fantasy?
Or put it this way, how do you trust a guy who makes judgements by dismissing the facts?

Hmmm it is still called the "Theory of Evolution" correct? That means it has not yet become a law (like the Law of Gravity).

I am not arguing against evolution, just pointing out why that may not be a be-all end-all for others opinions. Most of the world doesn't believe in global warming, and 20 years ago no one did. Things change constantly, especially in science. I am not sure that scientific knowledge is a necessary part of being president.

Actually, it still is the Theory of Gravity.

I still don't.
And most of the world does believe in global climate change. There is a difference!

Maybe most of the politicians, but I doubt if you took a census of the world's population, I don't think you would get a majority. I don't think global climate change is anything we can stop or alter. It is equivalent to outlawing volcanoes...easy to say, hard to do.

However I DO think renewable energy and affiliated technologies are something the US should really be pursuing.

No, it just shows how pathetically desperate the Republicans are, as they will go to great lengths to promote fear, uncertainty and doubt. I am sure the rumor mill is working overtime these days in an effort to make anything stick. I kept looking for that "Family Koran" the wackos kept claiming Obama was going to get sworn in on. Never saw it. ;)

It's this "liberals vs conservatives" thought process that I hate sooooooo much. We're all in this together you dumbasses. I swear sometimes people want to repeat the civil war.
It isn't us vs them, we're all American. How about you give a little bit and meet in the middle? Why do you want to let yourselves be divided? It's so stupid; politicians have divided and conquered this country. Conservative politician, liberal politician, they all work for the same people. And I'm not talking about the voters!
George Bush acheived unbeleavable levels of power for his office during his first term as President. He's a conservative and he trampled all over the Constitution! THEN for his second term we elected a Democratic Congress(liberal) which promised to reverse everything that he had done. But guess what? HE GOT MORE POWER!
Liberal politician, Conservative politician, THEY ARE THE SAME PARTY. They serve the same people.
So how about you stop the petty name calling and finger pointing, come together, and fix this mess? One Nation, one people.

Wow.

So does this mean you are going to stop with all the conspiracy threads and try to bring us all together?
