This is indeed where I got hte idea for that suggestion from.

Rocketry does not want a new name, he wants to warn people they cannot change their username.

Simple. Make a multiple account, with whatever name you want, and you'll be allowed to keep it when caught.

Don't listen to Kotaro.

According to Rule #1, you can only have one account ever.

There may be options in the future to change your username, but that is not available at this time.

if u had asked this a few months earlier Id say make a multi and after u'd get caught pay a premium for a new name u like, some have done it and got away with it but now theres a rule against that doesnt allow it, came a bit too late tho :roll:

Not true... How many multis are running around here now because the mods let them keep the second account as long as they pay a new premium... the egg

In reality if anyone wants a new name, make a thread how you are done with cc and are never coming back. A few days later create another account, once caught... your "punishment" is to pay $25 to keep the MULTI account. Even though the NUMBER ONE RULE in cc is "you can only have one account ever"...

Don't forget warsteiner/Renegades, *manimal/about 50 others, JesusReigns/JCKing, I'm sure I'm forgetting others.

What the Mods practice is different from what they preach. New usernames cost $25.

Weh hey,

Seems like I'm opening a can of worms here.

I found the option to change my username in the "edit account settings" tab of the User Control Panel but it didn't seem to work so that's why I started this thread.

But hey, what's in a name?

well, it is hard to just dismiss kotaro when you have users like, The Egg, running around... however, in theory Night Strike is correct, and it is just best to stick to your one account, until this option becomes available...-0
