Hi

Just wondering about the details of the franchise scenario:

Is it all about the name of the tournament?

Would the CC series count as a franchise for example?

It's about the format, really, but most franchises tend to have somewhat similar names.

Follow-up question...if a franchise gets to the point where the Tournament Directors (or whomever) are considered whether to franchise it or not, will the Tournament Organizer get an opportunity to argue AGAINST such an action? (I ask because I don't believe I'll want mine franchised ever...).

Yes, there will be some dialogue involved for any franchise.
