Why, becuase they won't talk enough to suffiecintly defend themselves. Seems like a scum startegy to get any easy lynch.

Sorry wrong assumtion there friend.

Scum often use the AFK/UTR ruse by being very low posters and the effect of putting some heat on them often gets them to post. So I'd say the two votes on you had the desired affect......You stopped lurking and actually posted in thread. This also has the effect of making everyone actually participate in the thread which IMHO is what it's all about. No posting/low posting is a very crappy way to 'play' Mafia/WereWolf and takes the 'fun' out of this whole exersize. If you don't want to post why sign up? What is the point? None that I can see. (BTW that is not specifically diredcted at you.... everyone should take note) I've been in a few games of Mafia/WereWolf in my time spent on Blog sites and I've found far too many people use this stratagy and it is really fustrating because it causes threads to move like glaciers. There is no drama/excitement because the thread has like two posts a day on average. Not my idea of exciting. Here is a link to a site where I play werewolf. note how many posts per day and how many people play. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/59/pu ... ad-413962/. If you are interested in matching wits with plenty smart people check it out.

Additionally, where is nagerous?

I know I've been a very low poster but that was in part due to my subbing in and being unable to access the net from home. I have a new PC and I'm also spending time while I'm at work trying to catch up with this thread.
If we are going to do anything that's what I'd avocate doing.
Targeting nonposters is a scum tactic.

What was natewolfman thinking? Giving the anticult power roles to animorpher, ace, and an untested new player who is now MIA, does he just wnat to screw the town or what?

I beg to differ friend go to the link in my last post and see what a good game of Werewolf is like in comparison to this.

I suppose tho that is the norm on this site as non posters will most likely be vanillagers that lose interest in the threads. I' still believe and will always believe that lurking /not posting is a Scum tactic more often than not. IMHO

The thing is, everything is a scum tactic. If you don't post, scum tactic. If you try to get non voters lynched, scum tactic. Bandwagoning, Scum. Not jumping on a bandwagon, then having the person actualy be cult, scum. There is no real wy to tell if someone is scum. This isn't like playing in RL where you can stare someone down. I think derfderf is pretty scummy, but then again, wouldn't the cult be smarter than to act so scummy. This seems to not be getting very far. We need kage and ace to tell what they found and anything else that people have.

Agreed, I am also in Masket's game and have a very poor posting record there too, I am just getting tired of mafia games, call me game weary or what you will but the days of activity for me are slowly passing. I will try and play a more active role for the games I remain in but see this as my inevitable retirement from the game.. I might mod a couple in the future though possibly.

I know what you fell.

Once when you played everyone knew everyone and we had a mini-community. Now there's many many new people and the community is too large for everyone to know everyone well like before.

He didn't check thez for the second time but he got an innocent result like the night before. It's all in the punctuation.

Okay people, we have like 3 or 4 targets for a lynch. Let's pick 1 and get enough votes on them so they have to actively defend themselves and we get some info..

I'd be against letting someone that had an investigative role before back into the game. It is of course your game tho sir (nate), so I'm not wanting to step on your toes in anyway.

The problem I have tiright now with not targeting low posters/inactives is it is far too easy for Scum to hide among these people while watching the thread. They aren't forced to post and can still follow along and submit NK's to the Mod (Mr Nate). We as a Village have to get our butts in gear and be active and force the inactive/low posters to get involved or Lynch 'em.

MHO and I'm pretty adamant on this point.

I don't understand why sheep isn't clearly the favourite target.

Will's been a little quite but surely being scummy and bandwaggoning is a lot worse. As far as I see it there is only one target and that's sheep.

one other thought to throw into the ring here. Seeing as kagetora is AWOL why don't we just save our mod th ehassle of finding a replacement and lynch him? I saw his name come up as a suspect a couple of times a while back.

If not let's go with william18 for the now.

That is an absolutely horrible idea. His claim is almost confirmed so why would you advocating lynching what we almost for certain know to be a protown power role?

I still don'tlike derfderf. He has stood out as the biggest bandwagoner of all. Also, if anyone just got recruted last night then they can't be a cult leader, but derfderf could very well be. It is our last day as a majority so I say we prodd everyone as much as possible, especialy derfderf. unvote (if I haven't) Vote derfderf

We kill a cult leader, we have crippled the cult. That is one less cult we have to worry about as the game goes on. There's always time to lynch Pmc :P Unvote Vote derf for acting scummy, and bandwagoning.
