i know this isnt the right format but i had a question about contacting a player outside of the game to sync playing times. i am currently in a triples freestyle game in which the opposing team syncs up so they all play at the same time. it gives them an unfair advantage since my team cannot do that (we are in different countries.) i do not know if this is against the rules but i think it should be because it IS giving them an unfair advantage, and it has been repeated.

if they are allowed to get away with this, can we start a forum where we post the names of ppl who do this so other ppl that dont want to deal with their near cheating style can put them on their ignore list?

I'm a little confused as to why players get to have bonus armies if they miss their turn. I understand that there are folks who accidentally miss turns, but there are those out there trying to get the advantage by missing a turn and then trading in cards at the same time. Why is this the way this works? I'm just curious. Seems like they shouldn't get extra armies, that might eliminate some of turns that are missed on purpose? Has anyone else thought about this?

Haha, oddly enough my first post is on the same subject.

Assumimg that I no longer hold the continent after missing 2 rounds, do I get my 3 reinforcements multiplied by 3 and get the continent bonus for the rounds I held it, or do i just get the 3 reinforcements x 3."

Anyway, here's mine. It's not very interesting, except that it reminds me that I used to have too much time to check my games. : )

I too would like to see a 12 hour time option for taking your turn, for players who check they're games more than once a day.

I'm going with the Patriots. Partly because I think Indy's going to choke, and by Indy, I mean mostly Manning. In fact, had the Colts D played like they played all season, they wouldn't have gotten by Baltimore. I'd like to see the Saints win, because they haven't yet, and while I think they'll get by the Bears, I just think that if the Pats do make it to the Super Bowl, they'll win it for the fourth time. I mean really, was anyone really surprised that Brady led the team on that scoring drive at the end of the first half, and then again in the fourth, trailing by 8? Sure, he got a HUGE break with that interception-fumble-recovery play, but given the second chance, he made it happen again.
