I'm not sure how the number of posts is calculated or if it's broke, but I'm positive I have more than 57 or 58 posts.

Posts in Off Topic Forums and Usergroups do not get tallied into your overall Post Count---do you post in any of those frequently?

I'm going to suggest that not including all posts on a users post count hasn't really worked. Spammers still spam, and those who really care about post count now just go spam up the areas where the posts do count.
