I just had a 9x3 gone terribly wrong.

So far, so good, if it was not for the fact I wont the first 3x2, so it was 9x1..

When I finally got the territory, there were only 3 of mine left.

Unwritten rule in Conquer Club: "if you miss a 3x1, odds are you WILL miss at LEAST 2 other in a row"

So, roll, if you miss it, do not insist, you WILL miss again and again and again. Go attack somewhere else, or ley the round idle for a couple of minutes to "coll off" the bad luck sequence.

I attack 41 v 15 and fucking lose the mother fucking attack 40 to fucking 9!!! WHAT FUCKING BIZZARRO WORLD COULD ANY MOTHERFUCKER LOSE AN ATTACK 40 TO MOTHER FUCKING 9????? FOR 2 MOTHER FUCKING WEEKS THE DICE HAVE BEEN UNGODLY HORRIBLE....BUT NOW 40 TO FUCKING 9 LOSS?!?!? THIS IS A HUGE FUCKING JOKE!!!!Game 5046047 is the game of reference.

Next time, would you be so kind as to use the proper form? :)

Specifically regarding your report, our intensity cubes are indeed random. I suggest you get the old "dice analyzer" to compare your rolls to the statistical norms. :)

Thanks about the "dice analyzer". I hadn't heard about that and I'd asked. The dice always find the right time to lose for me. Plus I roll sooo many 1's and 2's..My only problem with this site is I get butt-raped constantly by the dice and "gold" members never seem to lose any while attacking me. Just getting a card is a chore for me

Sorry but no. My dice are pathetic and I lose more than I get many times trying to get a card. 8v3 attacks scare me. It has nothing to do with being a member. Although I wasn't the one who paid for my membership... :?

There's other exampls of horrendous losses for no discernable gain throughout history - WW1 trench warfare was a pointless sausage grinder for the poor soldiers involved, and WW2 eastern front with the Russian's tactic of "let's win by making them run out of bullets" wave attacks across snowy plains equally brutal.

The dice can be truly horrible but let's not forget they can also be wildly benevolent, I've slaughtered significant opposing armies before now for no loss. It's the bad ones that you generally remember. And it's one problem about CC that to my mind should be pretty easy to fix.

My proposal: Forget bitching about it in the forums, very little actions results. Instead, one Admin is needed to lead a committee/private discussion forum (i.e. without 300 posts clogging it up)/call it what you will, of interested players to work out an alternative or range of alternatives. I'd volunteer to help out on that if you want people, and in fact I'm sure there'd be no shortage. There is still a need for the current dice option, but we could do with others (defined kill rate when attacking, mix of dice and defined kill rate, whatever). Then add the outcome(s) as a public poll and add the most popular as one or more tickable options for people creating the games.

Will this happen though? I'm not holding my breath..

It´s that time of the year again, when I get down to cook.

For the last 3 days I could not conquer a single territory without losing 3 times what was guarding it.

THAT, when I get LUCKY!

Just right now, I went with 13 armies to get a defended-by-5

Results? I was left with 2, the defender, with 3

11 armies lost to kill 2.
3 days ago I was Sarge, 1st class... Now I am going down, private 1st, and no perspective to keep it till the end of the day.

During the next months, albeit my style wont change, neither my game preferences, you WILL see I go down back to cook, as the system takes it´s revenge on me.

It is amazing how things that should happen once-every-hundred years here happen yearly. I wonder if conquerclub travels near the speed of light. That would explain a lot.

Well I hope you all keep rolling crappy dice, I would love to play games with you knowing my defenders will be safe. :)

Also if you look up how the casualties for Pearl Harbor... That would have been quite some rolls. Of course most of us wouldn't try to take so many troops with so little... so we would never see that unbelievable luck.

I just lost a 3v1, I can't believe it happened. Have you ever seen 3 guys beat down on 1? The 3 always wins, the 1 never wins, unless it's Chuck Norris. THE DICE IZ RIGD11!!1!!

I had to add to this because I feel like killing my membership to this site due to what is currently happening to me. I am in Foundry Update Tourney. We are doing best of 3. In all three games, my opponent got great drops and I am getting the worst dice. Don't tell me, "you still have a chance." BS!! I'm officially dead in the first round of a tourney loosing all 3 games because of drops and horrible dice when trying to stop his bonuses.

I'm done with this pain!!

lost 10, killed 7 (I know this is likely to occour, but notice how the bad luck is cumulative - up to the end of the day I will post my other spectacular failures - and mind you I can only play 4 games - none of them speedy ones.)

After that, you judge if statistics are worth anything.

as you state here OLD.. The new intensity cubes are not the old dice.. I tend to agree with the topic statement above.. I have lost over 500 points the past month, closer to 3wks.. Just rediculous rolls and losing to horrendous players to boot. Well i am losing interest as some are my fellow gamers.. How can someone be accuse of point dropping when CC does it for you automatically... :-s i also have a beef with the recent drops.. 10 games the past few days and they were all decided by the first round.. Does CC do this because their computer systems can`t handle all the games being played? So they intentionally speed games up to not clog the system :?:
