Escalating Game Clock

Post by Barry Zuckerkorn »

Concise description:
  • Add an escalating game clock to track the length of a game

Specifics:
  • Put it under 'Time Remaining' clock
  • Clock starts when game starts
  • Clock ends when game ends

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • I dunno, maybe would be cool
  • I don't like scrolling back through the game log and then doing mental math

no responses about this -- nobody wants to see how long the game has been going on?

It might be a good idea, and could likely be done via a script like BOB (since it has the countdown timer), but it may be that people worry that it will slow things down for not very much benefit, or that you might glance at the time on it and confuse it with the countdown timer and do something foolish. I have never worked on a Greasemonkey script, but I have enough software experience that I suspect I could tweak something to do the job, just as soon as I have a little spare time. Don't hold your breath, though. ;)

A game clock would be neat.
