Well, my computer cannot take firefox and I don't currently have the funds for a new one. I have bought a premium here on CC, but I think if I had to face a bunch of folks like you who used tools not available to me, then I would not have joined.
What kind of computer "cannot take Firefox"? Some old Apple or what? AFAIK If it can take IE it can take Firefox. I could be wrong. At any rate this will be a rare exception, and not really part of the issue.
Try not all of us have computers we bought in the past 2 years (yeah, I know that is a strange concept). This is particularly true for us "older" members, who, though we don't always come here in the forums are often premium. Technically, I can use Firefox, but it causes a lot of problems with many programs I need to use all the time. Even so, I don't have the space on my computer for those add-ons. Just accepting the automatic update of Explorer 8 caused my computer to crash. Luckily they had free support. It took the technician over 3 hours to clear my computer.
There are 2 levels of CC membership. Paid/premium and unpaid/"freemium". Having these add-ons effectively creates another, completely unofficial, level of membership. I don't get hung up on points and don't play freestyle any longer for other reasons, but that this give some people an advantage that others, even paid members do not have just does not seem right.
