Is there anything better...

Post by HoustonNutt »

than starting a sequential (or even freestyle) turn in a card game and seeing someone with only one army left (with 5 cards)... and the one is right next to yours?*

I think not.

*Assuming, of course, that the CC dice don't decide they hate you.

that is the key isnt it. the dice are never on my side. i make sacrifices to the dice gods of younger siblings, but still they look unfavourably upon me.

Yeah, that is a pretty sweet gift when it occurs.

Although, I think that Crispy Arbees' curley fries are just a tad better.

In a recent game, I lost (over the course of three turns) 10 armies against the same four. UGH.

I love it in terminator games when players fail to finish off our opponents, even when they have the opportunity, thus giving me the chance to take the points for myself. :D

Why would the dice gods want your brothers or sisters. You are the one being punished by them being in your family. Thats why the gods don't like you.

It is indeed a grand feeling, perhaps unmatched in intensity save by that of the feeling you get when you were the poor bastard whose dice crapped out and created the situation in the first place. Same intensity, different set of feelings. Yeah.

Although, in a weird way, I get even more jazzed when I see that I can start an escalating card cascade going and bump off the remaining opponents (ESPECIALLY if there's still 4-5 of them) in one fell swoop.

Now THAT'S living.
